Up for sale is an all handmade custom order 20mm Baseball Glove Watch Strap.
This one of a kind baseball glove strap was made from a vintage Bill Mazeroski MacGregor autograph baseball glove. Bill Mazeroski, nicknamed "Maz" and "the Glove", was an American second baseman in Major League Baseball who played his entire career for the Pittsburgh Pirates from 1956 to 1972. Maz was a 10x All-Star and 8 time Gold Glove winner, known during his career primarily for his spectacular defensive play. He also came to be known best for one of the most memorable home runs in baseball history, a dramatic ninth-inning drive in Game 7 of the 1960 World Series that beat the favored New York Yankees. It was the first time that the major league season ended with a home run, and remains the only walk-off home run to clinch a World Series championship in Game 7. His number 9 is retired and he is in the Pirates Hall of Fame.
This baseball glove strap measures 20mm (no taper), 70 mm x 126 mm x ~4.1 mm thick. I hand stitched this strap with khaki beige Tiger thread, the best waxed synthetic thread available. This strap features the “Bill Mazeroski” autograph on the long side and the “MacGregor” logo on the short side. The strap comes with one floating keeper. The first hole is ~50mm from the lug. Extra holes can be punched upon request.
The strap comes with a custom Mott screw-in Pre-V style stainless steel buckle. I also have custom Mott bronze and black PVD buckles, which can be exchanged at no additional charge. If not specified, the strap will ship with the buckle as shown.
Most of my straps will also work with Apple watches. I can test fit adapters on them to make sure there is enough clearance. Please ask before purchasing.
