Up for sale is an all handmade 20mm Baseball Glove Watch Strap.
This one of a kind baseball glove strap was made from a MacGregor Gene Freese autograph baseball glove. Freese was an American professional baseball third baseman, who was widely noted as a journeyman. Freese played in Major League Baseball for the Pittsburgh Pirates, St. Louis Cardinals, Philadelphia Phillies, Chicago White Sox, Cincinnati Reds, and Houston Astros, for 12 seasons.
This baseball glove strap measures 20mm (no taper), 74 mm x 127 mm x ~4.4 mm thick. I hand stitched this strap with black Tiger thread, the best waxed synthetic thread available. This strap features the “Gene Freese” autograph on the long side and the “MacGregor Made in USA” logo on the short side. The strap comes with one floating keeper with the “Natural Ball” logo from where it says “Natural Ball Pocket” on the glove. The first hole is 50mm from the lug. Extra holes can be punched upon request.
The strap comes with a custom Mott screw-in Pre-V style stainless steel buckle. I also have custom Mott bronze and black PVD buckles, which can be exchanged at no additional charge. If not specified, the strap will ship with the buckle as shown.
Sizing: Baseball glove straps that are over 4.5mm tend to wear a bit smaller than their dimensions, since most OEM straps are less than 4 mm thick. If you’re on the fence, I can try the strap on one of my watches. If you’re still not sure, I’d suggest you go with a longer strap or reach out about a custom strap.
Most of my straps will also work with Apple watches. I can test fit adapters on them to make sure there is enough clearance. Please ask before purchasing.
