Up for sale is an all handmade 20mm Baseball Glove Watch Strap.
The glove used for this strap was an autograph Nelson (Nellie) Fox glove. Fox was one of the best second basemen of all time, and the third-most difficult hitter to strike out in Major League Baseball history. Playing primarily for the Chicago White Sox from 1950 to 1963, Fox was a 12-time All-Star and the 1959 American League MVP, helping lead the “Go-Go Sox” to the pennant. He was a 15 time All Star and AL MVP. His number 2 is retired by the White Sox and was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1997.
This baseball glove strap measures 20mm (no taper), 78 mm x 125 mm x ~4.2 mm thick. I hand stitched this strap with cream Tiger thread - the best waxed synthetic thread available.
This strap features “Streamlined Fingers” on the short side and the “Nelson Fox” autograph on the long side. The strap comes with one floating keeper with the “Pro Pocket” logo. The first hole is 50mm from the lug. Extra holes can be punched upon request.
The strap comes with a custom Mott screw-in Pre-V style stainless steel buckle. I also have custom Mott bronze and black PVD buckles, which can be exchanged at no additional charge. If not specified, the strap will ship with the buckle as shown.
Sizing: Baseball glove straps that are over 4.5mm tend to wear a bit smaller than their dimensions, since most OEM straps are less than 4 mm thick. If you’re on the fence, I can try the strap on one of my watches. If you’re still not sure, I’d suggest you go with a longer strap or reach out about a custom strap.
Most of my straps will also work with Apple watches. I can test fit adapters on them to make sure there is enough clearance. Please ask before purchasing.
