22mm Baseball Glove Watch Strap Wilson Made in the USA Panerai Omega Seiko Sinn

The glove used for this strap was an autograph Jim Gentile Wilson Made in the USA baseball glove.   Nicknamed “Diamond Jim”, Gentile played for the Brooklyn/LA Dodgers, Baltimore Orioles, Kansas City Athletics, Houston Astros and Cleveland Indians from 1957 to 1966.  In 1961, Gentile was third in MVP voting, only behind Mickey Mantle and Roger Maris.  

This baseball glove strap measures 22mm (no taper), 77 mm x 130 mm x ~4.0 mm thick.   I stitched this strap with blue Tiger thread, the best waxed polyester thread available.  Edges were burnished smooth.  

This strap features “Wilson Made in the USA” on the buckle side and “Grip-Tite” on the long side.  The strap comes with one floating keeper: “Gentile”.  The first hole is 50 mm from the lug end.   Extra holes can be punched upon request. 

The strap comes with a stainless steel custom Mott screw-in Pre-V style buckle.  I also have bronze buckles, which can be exchanged at no additional charge.  If not specified, the strap will ship with a steel buckle.  

A couple notes about this strap.  I mounted it on a watch I had and put it in my watch box, so the strap has a small amount of curve to it.  Also the leather keeper has a very small amount of surface crack to it.  The leather is still very flexible however.  

Sizing:  Baseball glove straps that are over 4.5mm tend to wear a bit smaller than their dimensions, since most OEM straps are less than 4 mm thick.  If you’re on the fence, I suggest you go with a longer strap or reach out about a custom strap.  

Most of my 24mm and 22mm straps will also work with Apple watches.  I can test fit adapters on them to make sure there is enough clearance.  Please ask before purchasing.
