22mm Pete Rose Baseball Glove Watch Strap Cincinnatti Reds Philadelphia Phillies

Up for sale is an all handmade 22mm Baseball Glove Watch Strap.

The glove used for this strap was an autograph Pete Rose MacGregor baseball glove.  Pete Rose, aka “Charlie Hustle”, is the all time hit leader in all of MLB.  He played for the Cincinnati Reds, Philadelphia Phillies, and Montreal Expos.  He also was a manager for the Reds.  While he is known for his all out style on the diamond, he later became known for his gambling on sports.  

This incredibly soft baseball glove strap measures 22mm (no taper), 78 mm x 130 mm x ~5.0 mm thick.   I stitched this strap with red Tiger thread - the best waxed polyester thread available.  Edges were burnished smooth.  

This strap features “100% Nylon Stitched” on the short side and the “Pete Rose” autograph on the long side.  The strap comes with one floating keeper: “MacGregor”.  The first hole is 50mm from the lug end.  Extra holes can be punched upon request. 

The strap comes with a custom stainless steel Mott screw-in Pre-V style buckle.  I also have custom Mott bronze buckles, which can be exchanged at no additional charge.  If not specified, the strap will ship with a steel buckle as shown.  

Sizing:  Baseball glove straps that are over 4.5mm tend to wear a bit smaller than their dimensions, since most OEM straps are less than 4 mm thick.  If you’re on the fence, I suggest you go with a longer strap or reach out about a custom strap.  

Most of my straps will also work with Apple watches.  I can test fit adapters on them to make sure there is enough clearance.  Please ask before purchasing.
