24mm Andre Dawson Baseball Glove Watch Strap Cubs Panerai Kaventsmann Apple Watch

Up for sale is an all handmade 24mm Baseball Glove Watch Strap.

The glove used for this strap was a Rawlings Andre Dawson autograph baseball glove.  Andre Dawson was nicknamed “The Hawk” and “Awesome Dawson”.  He played 21 seasons in the MLB, mostly for the Montreal Expos and Chicago Cubs.  Among the highlights of his career, he was an 8 time All Star, NL MVP in 1987, 8 time Gold Glove winner, 4 time Silver Slugger, and has his #10 retired by the Expos.

This baseball glove strap measures 24mm (no taper), 78 mm x 128 mm x ~4.0 mm thick on the buckle side and 4.5mm thick on the long side.   I stitched this strap with blue Tiger thread - the best waxed polyester thread available.  Edges were burnished smooth.  

This strap features “Edge-U-Cated heel” on the short side and the “Andre Dawson” autograph on the long side.  The strap comes with one large floating keeper, “Rawlins”.   The first hole is 50mm from the lug end.  Extra holes can be punched upon request. 

The strap comes with a custom stainless steel Mott screw-in Pre-V style buckle.  I also have custom Mott bronze and PVD buckles, which can be exchanged at no additional charge.  If not specified, the strap will ship with a steel buckle as shown.  

Sizing:  Baseball glove straps that are over 4.5mm tend to wear a bit smaller than their dimensions, since most OEM straps are less than 4 mm thick.  If you’re on the fence, I suggest you go with a longer strap or reach out about a custom strap.  

Most of my straps will also work with Apple watches.  I can test fit adapters on them to make sure there is enough clearance.  Please ask before purchasing.
