24mm Baseball Glove Watch Strap Rizzuto NY Yankees Panerai Kaventsmann Ennebi

Up for sale is an all handmade 24mm Baseball Glove Watch Strap.

The glove used for this strap was an autograph Phil Rizzuto Regent baseball glove.  Rizzuto played shortstop for 13 years for the New York Yankees, during which the team won 10 American League pennants and 7 World Series titles.  When he retired ranked 2nd all time with 1217 double plays.  He was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1994.  After his playing days, he worked for the Yankees as a radio and TV announcer for another 40 years.  

This baseball glove strap measures 24mm (no taper), 79 mm x 131 mm x ~5 mm thick on the buckle side and ~5.5mm thick on the long side.   I saddle stitched this strap with black Tiger thread, the best waxed polyester thread available.  Edges were burnished smooth.  

This strap features “Registered Professional” on the buckle side and the Phil Rizzuto on the long side.  The strap comes with one floating keeper “Regent”.  You’ll note that on this glove there is a graphic of a baseball player catching a ball.  This is partially present on the long side of the glove, above the autograph and also on the backside of the buckle side of the strap.  The first hole is 50 mm from the lug end.   Extra holes can be punched upon request.  

The strap includes a custom Mott stainless steel pre-V style screw-in buckle as shown.  I can swap out the buckle to a custom Mott screw-in bronze buckle.  Just let me know upon checkout.  

Sizing:  Baseball glove straps that are over 4.5mm tend to wear a bit smaller than their dimensions, since most OEM straps are less than 4 mm thick.  If you’re on the fence, I suggest you go with a longer strap or reach out about a custom strap.
