24mm The Yaz Baseball Glove Watch Strap Boston Red Sox Panerai Kaventsmann

Up for sale is an all handmade 24mm Baseball Glove Watch Strap.

The glove used for this strap was an autograph Carl Yastzremski (aka the Yaz) Spalding baseball glove.  The list of accolades Yaz accumulated in his 18 year career is incredible.  He was an 18 time All Star, AL MVP, Triple Crown winner, 7 time gold glove award winner, 3 time batting champion, is a member of the Boston Red Sox Hall of Fame and has his number retired by the Red Sox.

This baseball glove strap measures 24mm (no taper), 79 mm x 133 mm x ~4.2 mm thick.   I stitched this strap with red Tiger thread - the best waxed polyester thread available.  Edges were burnished smooth.  

This strap features the American Eagle on the short side and the Yaz autograph on the long side.  The strap comes with two floating keepers, “Advisory Staff” and “42-233” which I believe is the glove number.   The first hole is 50mm from the lug end.  Extra holes can be punched upon request. 

The strap comes with a custom stainless steel Mott screw-in Pre-V style buckle.  I also have custom Mott bronze and PVD buckles, which can be exchanged at no additional charge.  If not specified, the strap will ship with a steel buckle as shown.  

Sizing:  Baseball glove straps that are over 4.5mm tend to wear a bit smaller than their dimensions, since most OEM straps are less than 4 mm thick.  If you’re on the fence, I suggest you go with a longer strap or reach out about a custom strap.  

Most of my 24mm and 22mm straps will also work with Apple watches.  I can test fit adapters on them to make sure there is enough clearance.  Please ask before purchasing.
