24mm Bob Lemon Baseball Glove Watch Strap Panerai Kaventsmann Cleveland Guardians

Up for sale is an all handmade 24mm Baseball Glove Watch Strap.

The glove used for this strap was a vintage Bob Lemon baseball glove.  Bob Lemon has an interesting MLB career.  He began his MLB career in 1941 for the Cleveland Indians, then joined the Navy, and again returned to playing in 1946.  His two wins as a pitcher helped Cleveland win their first championship in 1920.  He played for the Indians from 1946-1958, then went on to manage for the Kansas City Royal, Chicago White Sox and New York Yankees.  He was a 7 time All Star, 2 time World Series Champion, 3 time AL Wins leader, is in the Cleveland Guardian Hall of Fame and has his #21 retired by the Guardians.

This incredibly soft baseball glove strap measures 24mm (no taper), 83 mm x 133 mm x ~4.5 mm thick.   I saddle stitched this strap with red Tiger thread - the best waxed polyester thread available.  Edges were burnished smooth.  

This strap features the “Professional Model” logo on the short side and “Bob Lemon” on the long side.  The strap comes with one floating keeper.  The first hole is 50mm from the lug end.  Extra holes can be punched upon request. 

The strap comes with a custom stainless steel Mott screw-in Pre-V style buckle.  I also have custom Mott bronze or PVD buckles, which can be exchanged at no additional charge.  If not specified, the strap will ship with a steel buckle as shown.  

Sizing:  Baseball glove straps that are over 4.5mm tend to wear a bit smaller than their dimensions, since most OEM straps are less than 4 mm thick.  If you’re on the fence, I suggest you go with a longer strap or reach out about a custom strap.  

Most of my straps will also work with Apple watches.  I can test fit adapters on them to make sure there is enough clearance.  Please ask before purchasing.
