Up for sale is an all handmade 24mm Baseball Glove Watch Strap.
The glove used for this strap was a super soft George Foster autograph MacGregor baseball glove. Foster was an outfielder from 1969 through 1986, most notably as an integral member of the Cincinnati Reds, with whom he won two World Series championships, in 1975 and 1976. Foster was a 5 time All Star, NL MVP, 2 time NL home run leader and 3 time NL leader in RBI’s. Unfortunately, the autograph on this glove was super small and I wasn’t able to use it on the strap.
This baseball glove strap measures 24mm (no taper), 82 mm x 128 mm x ~4.6 mm thick. I hand stitched this strap with red Tiger thread - the best waxed synthetic thread available.
This strap features the “Natural Ball Pocket” logo on the short side and “Handlasted” on the long side. The strap comes with one floating keeper with the faded “MacGregor” logo. The first hole is 50mm from the lug. Extra holes can be punched upon request.
The strap comes with a custom Mott screw-in Pre-V style stainless steel buckle. I also have custom Mott bronze and black PVD buckles, which can be exchanged at no additional charge. If not specified, the strap will ship with the buckle as shown.
Sizing: Baseball glove straps that are over 4.5mm tend to wear a bit smaller than their dimensions, since most OEM straps are less than 4 mm thick. If you’re on the fence, I can try the strap on one of my watches. If you’re still not sure, I’d suggest you go with a longer strap or reach out about a custom strap.
Most of my straps will also work with Apple watches. I can test fit adapters on them to make sure there is enough clearance. Please ask before purchasing.
