Up for sale is an all handmade 24mm Baseball Glove Watch Strap.
This one of a kind baseball glove strap was made from a Max Alvis autograph baseball glove. Max Alvis played in Major League Baseball as a third baseman from 1962 through 1970, most notably for the Cleveland Indians, where he became a two-time All-Star. He played his final season with the Milwaukee Brewers.
This baseball glove strap measures 24mm (no taper), 79 mm x 125 mm x ~4.0 mm thick. I hand stitched this strap with red Tiger thread, the best waxed synthetic thread available. This strap features “Grip Tite” on the short side and the “Made in USA” (and part of Nylon Stitched) on the long side. The strap comes with one floating keeper, “Fieldmaster”. The first hole is 55mm from the lug to avoid the logo. Normal starting position for holes is 50mm. Extra holes can be punched upon request.
The strap comes with a custom Mott screw-in Pre-V style stainless steel buckle. I also have custom Mott bronze and black PVD buckles, which can be exchanged at no additional charge. If not specified, the strap will ship with the buckle as shown.
Sizing: Baseball glove straps that are over 4.5mm tend to wear a bit smaller than their dimensions, since most OEM straps are less than 4 mm thick. If you’re on the fence, I can try the strap on one of my watches. If you’re still not sure, I’d suggest you go with a longer strap or reach out about a custom strap.
Most of my straps will also work with Apple watches. I can test fit adapters on them to make sure there is enough clearance. Please ask before purchasing.
