Up for sale is an all handmade 24mm Baseball Glove Watch Strap.
I made this strap from a Rawlings Mike Schmidt autograph baseball glove. Mike Schmidt played his entire 18-year Major League Baseball (MLB) career with the Philadelphia Phillies. Schmidt was a 12-time All-Star, three time winner of the National League MVP and won the National League Gold Glove Award for third basemen ten times. He was elected into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1995 and is widely considered to be one of the greatest third basemen in baseball history.
This baseball glove strap measures 24mm (no taper), 75 mm x 127 mm x ~5.0 mm thick. I hand stitched this strap with red Tiger thread, the best waxed synthetic thread available. This strap features “Edge U Cated” on the short side and the “Mike Schmidt” autograph on the long side. The strap comes with one large floating keeper, “Rawlings”. The first hole is 50mm from the lug. Extra holes can be punched upon request.
The strap comes with a custom Mott screw-in Pre-V style stainless steel buckle. I also have custom Mott bronze and black PVD buckles, which can be exchanged at no additional charge. If not specified, the strap will ship with the buckle as shown.
Sizing: Baseball glove straps that are over 4.5mm tend to wear a bit smaller than their dimensions, since most OEM straps are less than 4 mm thick. If you’re on the fence, I can try the strap on one of my watches. If you’re still not sure, I’d suggest you go with a longer strap or reach out about a custom strap.
Most of my straps will also work with Apple watches. I can test fit adapters on them to make sure there is enough clearance. Please ask before purchasing.
