Up for sale is an all handmade 24mm Baseball Glove Watch Strap.
The glove used for this strap was an Ozzie Smith autograph Rawlings baseball glove. Nicknamed "The Wizard of Oz", Smith played shortstop for the San Diego Padres and St. Louis Cardinals in Major League Baseball, winning the National League Gold Glove Award for defensive play at shortstop for 13 consecutive seasons. Among his many accomplishments, Ozzie was a 15 time All Star, 13 time Gold Glove winner, NLCS MVP, and is in the St Louis Cardinals Hall of Fame with his #1 retired.
This baseball glove strap measures 24mm (no taper), 80 mm x 130 mm x ~4.2 mm thick. I hand stitched this strap with red Tiger thread - the best waxed synthetic thread available.
This strap features the “Rawlings” logo on the short side and the “Ozzie Smith” autograph on the long side. The strap comes with one floating keeper “Finest in the Field”. The first hole is 50mm from the lug. Extra holes can be punched upon request.
The strap comes with a custom Mott screw-in Pre-V style stainless steel buckle. I also have custom Mott bronze and black PVD buckles, which can be exchanged at no additional charge. If not specified, the strap will ship with the buckle as shown.
Sizing: Baseball glove straps that are over 4.5mm tend to wear a bit smaller than their dimensions, since most OEM straps are less than 4 mm thick. If you’re on the fence, I can try the strap on one of my watches. If you’re still not sure, I’d suggest you go with a longer strap or reach out about a custom strap.
Most of my straps will also work with Apple watches. I can test fit adapters on them to make sure there is enough clearance. Please ask before purchasing.
