24mm Reggie Jackson Baseball Glove leather watch strap Yankees Athletics Panerai Kaventsmann

Up for sale is an all handmade 24 mm Baseball Glove Watch Strap.

The glove used for this strap was a Rawlings Reggie Jackson autograph baseball glove. 

Jackson was given the nickname “Mr. October” for his clutch postseason hitting.  While most remember his time playing for the Yankees and Athletics, he also played for the Orioles, and Angels.  Among his many accolades, he was a 14 time All Star, 5 time World Series Champion, AL MVP, 2 time Silver Slugger winner, and 4 time AL Home Run leader.  His #9 is retired by the Athletics, and his #44 is retired by the Yankees.  His in the Athletics Hall of Fame and is a Monument Park honoree for the Yankees.

This baseball glove strap measures 24mm (no taper), 74 mm x 127 mm x ~4.2 mm thick on the buckle side and about 5mm thick on the long side.   I saddle stitched this strap with red Tiger thread - the best waxed polyester thread available.  Edges were burnished smooth.  

This strap features the “Edge-U-Cated” logo on the short side and the “Reggie Jackson” autograph on the long side.  The strap comes with one floating keeper “Rawlings”.  The first hole is 50mm from the lug end.  Extra holes can be punched upon request. 

The strap comes with a custom Mott screw-in Pre-V style stainless steel buckle.  I also have custom Mott PVD and bronze buckles, which can be exchanged at no additional charge.  If not specified, the strap will ship with the buckle as shown.  

Sizing:  Baseball glove straps that are over 4.5mm tend to wear a bit smaller than their dimensions, since most OEM straps are less than 4 mm thick.  If you’re on the fence, I suggest you go with a longer strap or reach out about a custom strap.  

Most of my straps will also work with Apple watches.  I can test fit adapters on them to make sure there is enough clearance.  Please ask before purchasing.
