Up for sale is an all handmade 24mm Baseball Glove Watch Strap.
The glove used for this strap was a Roberto “Bob” Clemente autograph baseball glove. Clemente played 18 seasons in Major League Baseball for the Pittsburgh Pirates. Among his many accolades, he was a 15x All Star, NL MVP, 12x Gold Glove winner, 4x batting champion, and had his number retired by the Pittsburgh Pirates along with being in their Hall of Fame.
This baseball glove strap measures 24mm (no taper), 79 mm x 131 mm x ~3.8 mm thick. I hand stitched this strap with red Tiger thread - the best waxed synthetic thread available.
This strap features some very cool, but faded images and logo’s. On the short side, ther is an image of the Statue of Liberty” and the “Bob Clemente” autograph on the long side. Using “Bob” instead of Roberto was common for this glove manufacturer. The strap comes with one floating keeper, “Pro Style Pocket”. The first hole is 50mm from the lug. Extra holes can be punched upon request.
The strap comes with a custom Mott screw-in Pre-V style stainless steel buckle. I also have custom Mott bronze and black PVD buckles, which can be exchanged at no additional charge. If not specified, the strap will ship with the buckle as shown.
Sizing: Baseball glove straps that are over 4.5mm tend to wear a bit smaller than their dimensions, since most OEM straps are less than 4 mm thick. If you’re on the fence, I can try the strap on one of my watches. If you’re still not sure, I’d suggest you go with a longer strap or reach out about a custom strap.
Most of my straps will also work with Apple watches. I can test fit adapters on them to make sure there is enough clearance. Please ask before purchasing.
