24mm Ron Hansen Triple Play Handmade Baseball Glove Watch Strap Panerai ~70/125
Up for sale is an all handmade 24mm Baseball Glove Watch Strap.
The glove used for this strap was a MacGregor, Ron Hansen baseball glove. Hansen played for the Baltimore Orioles, Chicago White Sox, Washington Senators, New York Yankees and Kansas City Royals but is perhaps most famous for being the 8th player in MLB history to make an unassisted triple play.
This super soft baseball glove strap measures 24mm (no taper), 72 mm x 123 mm x ~5.1 mm thick. I hand stitched this strap with red Tiger thread - the best waxed synthetic thread available.
This strap features the “MacGregor” logo on the short side and the “Ron Hansen” autograph on the long side. The strap comes with one floating keeper. The first hole is 50mm from the lug end. Extra holes can be punched upon request.
The strap comes with a custom Mott screw-in Pre-V style stainless steel buckle. I also have custom Mott bronze and black PVD buckles, which can be exchanged at no additional charge. If not specified, the strap will ship with the buckle as shown.
Sizing: Baseball glove straps that are over 4.5mm tend to wear a bit smaller than their dimensions, since most OEM straps are less than 4 mm thick. If you’re on the fence, I can try the strap on one of my watches. If you’re still not sure, I’d suggest you go with a longer strap or reach out about a custom strap.
Most of my straps will also work with Apple watches. I can test fit adapters on them to make sure there is enough clearance. Please ask before purchasing.
