Up for sale is an all handmade 24mm Baseball Glove Watch Strap.
The glove used for this strap was an autograph Sandy Koufax glove. Koufax, nicknamed "the Left Arm of God", is an American former baseball player. Widely regarded as one of the greatest pitchers in baseball history, he played 12 seasons in Major League Baseball for the Brooklyn/Los Angeles Dodgers from 1955 to 1966. Koufax was a 7 time All Star, 4 time World Series Champion, 3 time Cy Young Winner, 2 time World Series MVP (As a pitcher!!!), 3 time NL ERA leader, 5 time NL ERA leader. He’s a member of the MLB All Century and All Time Team, and his number 32 is retired by the Dodgers.
This baseball glove strap measures 24mm (no taper), 83 mm x 132 mm x ~4.5 mm thick. I hand stitched this strap with blue Tiger thread - the best waxed synthetic thread available.
This strap features “League Champion” on the short side and the “Sandy Koufax” autograph on the long side. Unfortunately, someone drew over his autograph with a marker, so this strap will be offered at a discount. The strap comes with one floating keeper, with some very faded numbers or letters. The first hole is 50mm from the lug. Extra holes can be punched upon request.
The strap comes with a custom Mott screw-in Pre-V style stainless steel buckle. I also have custom Mott bronze and black PVD buckles, which can be exchanged at no additional charge. If not specified, the strap will ship with the buckle as shown.
Sizing: Baseball glove straps that are over 4.5mm tend to wear a bit smaller than their dimensions, since most OEM straps are less than 4 mm thick. If you’re on the fence, I can try the strap on one of my watches. If you’re still not sure, I’d suggest you go with a longer strap or reach out about a custom strap.
Most of my straps will also work with Apple watches. I can test fit adapters on them to make sure there is enough clearance. Please ask before purchasing.
