Up for sale is an all handmade 24mm Baseball Glove Watch Strap.
The glove used for this strap was a Steve Garvey autograph Louisville Slugger baseball glove. Garvey played first baseman for the Los Angeles Dodgers and San Diego Padres from 1969 to 1987. He was a 10x All Star, NL MVP, won 4 Gold Gloves, the Roberto Clemente Award and has his #6 retired by the Padres.
This baseball glove strap measures 24mm (no taper), 80 mm x 131 mm x ~5.1 mm thick. I hand stitched this strap with mid-brown Tiger thread - the best waxed synthetic thread available. I also added a small amount of gold stitching near the lugs, in an homage to the Padres.
This strap features “Double Break” on the short side and the “Steve Garvey” autograph on the long side. The strap comes with one floating keeper, “Slugger”. The first hole is 50mm from the lug. Extra holes can be punched upon request.
The strap comes with a custom Mott screw-in Pre-V style stainless steel buckle. I also have custom Mott bronze and black PVD buckles, which can be exchanged at no additional charge. If not specified, the strap will ship with the buckle as shown.
Sizing: Baseball glove straps that are over 4.5mm tend to wear a bit smaller than their dimensions, since most OEM straps are less than 4 mm thick. If you’re on the fence, I can try the strap on one of my watches. If you’re still not sure, I’d suggest you go with a longer strap or reach out about a custom strap.
Most of my straps will also work with Apple watches. I can test fit adapters on them to make sure there is enough clearance. Please ask before purchasing.
