Up for sale is an all handmade 24mm Baseball Glove Watch Strap.
The baseball glove used for this handmade leather watch strap was a dark brown Wilson catcher’s mitt. This mitt looks like it lived a long life on the diamond. Its logos had nearly all faded, but the leather was too incredible to not make something with.
This baseball glove strap measures 24mm (no taper), 88 mm x 137 mm x ~4.3 mm thick. I hand stitched this strap with cream Tiger thread - the best waxed synthetic thread available.
This strap doesn't feature any logos except on the keeper “Wilson Made in USA”. Being such a long strap, I punched the first hole at 55mm from the lug instead of at 50mm which is normal. Extra holes can be punched upon request.
The strap comes with a custom Mott screw-in Pre-V style stainless steel buckle. I also have custom Mott bronze and black PVD buckles, which can be exchanged at no additional charge. If not specified, the strap will ship with the buckle as shown.
Sizing: Baseball glove straps that are over 4.5mm tend to wear a bit smaller than their dimensions, since most OEM straps are less than 4 mm thick. If you’re on the fence, I can try the strap on one of my watches. If you’re still not sure, I’d suggest you go with a longer strap or reach out about a custom strap.
Most of my straps will also work with Apple watches. I can test fit adapters on them to make sure there is enough clearance. Please ask before purchasing.
