Up for sale is an all handmade 26mm Baseball Glove Watch Strap.
I made this strap from a super soft Wilson, Bobby Bonds baseball glove. Bonds played for the San Francisco Giants, New York Yankees, California Angels, Chicago White Sox, Texas Rangers, Cleveland Indians, St. Louis Cardinals, and Chicago Cubs. Bonds was known for his combination of power hitting and speed. He was the first player to have more than two seasons of 30 home runs and 30 stolen bases, doing so a record five times (the record was matched only by his son Barry) and was the first to accomplish the feat in both major leagues. He became the second player to hit 300 career home runs and steal 300 bases, joining Willie Mays. He was a 3x All Star, 3x Gold Glove winner and is on the San Francisco Giants Wall of Fame.
This baseball glove strap measures 26mm (no taper), 80 mm x 131 mm x ~5.2 mm thick. I hand stitched this strap with red Tiger thread, the best waxed synthetic thread available.
This strap features “Pro Model” on the short side and the “Bobby Bonds” autograph on the long side. The strap comes with two large floating keepers, “Wilson” and “Designed for the Professional”. You’ll probably only need one, but the logo’s were too good not to include both. The first hole is 50mm from the lug. Extra holes can be punched upon request.
The strap comes with a custom Mott screw-in Pre-V style stainless steel buckle. I also have custom Mott bronze and black PVD buckles, which can be exchanged at no additional charge. If not specified, the strap will ship with the buckle as shown.
Sizing: Baseball glove straps that are over 4.5mm tend to wear a bit smaller than their dimensions, since most OEM straps are less than 4 mm thick. If you’re on the fence, I can try the strap on one of my watches. If you’re still not sure, I’d suggest you go with a longer strap or reach out about a custom strap.
Most of my straps will also work with Apple watches. I can test fit adapters on them to make sure there is enough clearance. Please ask before purchasing.
