Up for sale is an all handmade 26mm Baseball Glove Watch Strap.
The glove used for this strap was an autograph Don Drysdale Spalding Made in USA baseball glove. Drysdale spent his entire 14-year career with the Brooklyn/Los Angeles Dodgers. Known for being a fierce competitor, Drysdale won the Cy Young Award in 1962 and was a three-time World Series champion during his playing career. He was a 9 time All Star and 3 time strike out leader. His number 53 jersey is retired by the Dodgers.
This baseball glove strap measures 26mm (no taper), 82 mm x 132 mm x ~4.0 mm thick. I hand stitched this strap with red Tiger thread - the best waxed synthetic thread available.
This strap features “100% Nylon Sewn” on the short side and the “Don Drysdale” autograph on the long side. The strap comes with one large floating keeper, “Spalding made in USA”. The first hole is 50mm from the lug. Extra holes can be punched upon request.
The strap comes with a custom Mott screw-in Pre-V style stainless steel buckle. I also have custom Mott bronze and black PVD buckles, which can be exchanged at no additional charge. If not specified, the strap will ship with the buckle as shown.
Sizing: Baseball glove straps that are over 4.5mm tend to wear a bit smaller than their dimensions, since most OEM straps are less than 4 mm thick. If you’re on the fence, I can try the strap on one of my watches. If you’re still not sure, I’d suggest you go with a longer strap or reach out about a custom strap.
Most of my straps will also work with Apple watches. I can test fit adapters on them to make sure there is enough clearance. Please ask before purchasing.
