Up for sale is an all handmade 26mm Baseball Glove Watch Strap.
The baseball glove used for this handmade baseball glove watch strap was the top part of a Made in the USA Wilson Spear-M first baseman’s glove. The leather on top and the logo “It’s a Wilson” was too good not to make something with. I tried this on my 47m Panerai and I was on the 3rd or 4th hole from the lug end with a 7” wrist.
This baseball glove strap measures 26mm (no taper), 72 mm x 125 mm x ~4.4 mm thick. I hand stitched this strap with black Tiger thread - the best waxed synthetic thread available.
The glove for this strap features "It’s a Wilson” on the long side and no logos on the short side or the keeper. But you can see the stitched areas on the short side and the keeper where I removed the original stitching.
The first hole was punched at 50mm from the lug. Extra holes can be punched upon request. Edges have been burnished smooth.
The strap comes with a custom Mott screw-in Pre-V style stainless steel buckle. I also have custom Mott bronze and black PVD buckles, which can be exchanged at no additional charge. If not specified, the strap will ship with the buckle as shown.
Sizing: Baseball glove straps that are over 4.5mm tend to wear a bit smaller than their dimensions, since most OEM straps are less than 4 mm thick. If you’re on the fence, I can try the strap on one of my watches. If you’re still not sure, I’d suggest you go with a longer strap or reach out about a custom strap.
Most of my straps will also work with Apple watches. I can test fit adapters on them to make sure there is enough clearance. Please ask before purchasing.
