26mm Made in USA Baseball Glove Leather Watch Strap Panerai Kaventsmann

Up for sale is an all handmade 26 mm Baseball Glove Watch Strap. 

The glove used for this strap was a vintage MacGregor Made in the USA baseball glove.  This glove’s logos were pretty faded, but I was able to capture the best of them.  After making the strap, I conditioned it with Ball Player’s Balm conditioner which darkened the strap compared to the glove’s picture.  I think it only enhanced the logos and of course made it even softer.

This super soft baseball glove strap measures 26mm (no taper), 88 mm x 145 mm x ~4.5 mm thick.   I saddle stitched this strap with red Tiger thread - the best waxed polyester thread available.  Edges were burnished smooth.  

This strap features the “Made in the USA” logo on the short side and the “Pro Customed” on the long side.  The strap comes with two floating keepers “Adjusta Wrist” and a faded “MacGregor”.   The first hole is 60mm from the lug end.  Normally I start at 50mm but for this long strap, I started at 60mm.  Extra holes can be punched upon request. 

The strap comes with a custom Mott screw-in Pre-V style stainless steel buckle.  I also have custom Mott bronze buckles, which can be exchanged at no additional charge.  If not specified, the strap will ship with the buckle as shown.  

Sizing:  Baseball glove straps that are over 4.5mm tend to wear a bit smaller than their dimensions, since most OEM straps are less than 4 mm thick.  If you’re on the fence, I suggest you go with a longer strap or reach out about a custom strap.  

Most of my straps will also work with Apple watches.  I can test fit adapters on them to make sure there is enough clearance.  Please ask before purchasing.
