22mm Walnut Brown Leather Military G-10 Zulu strap Steel & Silver Stitch Panerai Omega
Up for sale is a new 22mm Handmade Walnut Brown Leather G-10 Military style, pass through Watch Strap. I can’t call these by the name that’s the acronym for the North Atlantic Treaty Organization due to some BS copyright.
The strap measures ~11" (standard size) and ~1.3 mm thick and features stainless steel hardware. The hardware appears bright now, but will patina with time and wear.
I hand stitched this strap using silver Tiger thread - the best waxed synthetic thread available.
The leather used for this strap is Badalassi Carlo Waxy. Rocky Mountain leather describes the leather this way:
This veg tan leather is their top grade, it is full grain and has a nice supple feel with a small amount of firmness. This leather has a unique rustic pull-up that adds beautiful depth to the leather and makes for an amazing patina as it ages.
The pull-up effect means that when the strap bends, you’ll see the color lighten, as seen in one of the pics. As this strap is black, there will be very little to no pull up. The rustic nature however adds some character and depth to the leather.
This strap was handmade in nearly every way. The strap was creased, and the edges were beveled and burnished. Please note that I only use one loop at the slide through location. My experience is that the extra loop just makes noise and isn't useful.
