The leather used for this strap is a medium brown shell cordovan from the Horween Tannery in Chicago, IL.
Shell Cordovan leather is some of the best leather you can buy and is normally reserved for high end leather goods such as wallets, belts, bags, purses and shoes. The process to make this exquisite leather takes in excess of 6 months. In addition to the amazing feel of this leather, it will not crease. Ever.
This strap measures 20mm (no taper), 75 mm x 115 mm x ~3.5 mm thick. I hand stitched this strap with cream Tiger thread - the best waxed synthetic thread available. Edges were burnished smooth. The strap comes with a screw-in, thumbnail style custom Mott watch buckle. I also have custom Mott Pre-V style buckles available in stainless steel as well as bronze and PVD black.
