24mm Dark Blue Leather Watch Strap Black thread Made in USA Panerai Kaventsmann

Up for sale is an all handmade 24mm dark blue leather watch strap, made by me (Mott Straps).  This strap is made from a great veg tan leather called Badalassi Carlo Pueblo from the Badalassi tannery in Italy.  Here’s what Rocky Mountain leather says about the leather:

This veg tan leather is their top grade, it is full grain and has a nice supple feel with a small amount of firmness. This leather has a unique rustic look that adds beautiful depth to the leather and makes for an amazing patina as it ages.

As they described, you’ll see some rustic features in this leather, which is the lightened area that’s interspersed throughout the strap.  This strap is soft to the touch and a medium firmness initially and will break in very easily with wear.  

This strap measures 24mm (no taper), 83 mm x 130 mm x ~4.2mm (on the long side) to 4.7mm thick (on the buckle side).   I saddle stitched this dark blue strap with black Tiger thread - the best waxed polyester thread available.  Edges were burnished smooth.  The first hole is 50 mm from the lug end.   Extra holes can be punched upon request.  

The strap includes a black PVD pre-V style screw-in buckle*.  It now has a custom Mott PVD Pre-V screw-in buckle. I can swap out the buckle to a custom Mott screw-in bronze or steel buckle at no charge.  Just let me know upon checkout.  

Sizing:  Watch straps that are over 4.5mm tend to wear a bit smaller than their dimensions, since most OEM straps are less than 4 mm thick.  If you’re on the fence, I suggest you go with a longer strap or reach out about a custom strap.
