24mm Red Leather Watch Strap Space Grey thread Made in USA Panerai Ennebi
Up for sale is an all handmade 24mm red leather watch strap.
This strap is made from a great veg tan leather called Badalassi Carlo Waxy from the Badalassi tannery in Italy. Here’s what Rocky Mountain leather says about the leather:
This veg tan leather is their top grade, it is full grain and has a nice supple feel with a small amount of firmness. This leather has a unique rustic pull-up that adds beautiful depth to the leather and makes for an amazing patina as it ages.
The “pull up” effect means that when the strap is bent, the color lightens, adding a lot of depth to the leather. Additionally, the extra wax that’s been infused into the leather makes the strap conform to your wrist, like one of those snap on bracelets.
This strap measures 24mm (no taper), 80 mm x 134 mm x ~4.2mm thick. I saddle stitched this strap with space grey Tiger thread - the best waxed polyester thread available. Edges were burnished smooth. The first hole is 50 mm from the lug end. Extra holes can be punched upon request.
The strap includes a custom Mott stainless steel pre-V style screw-in buckle, as shown. I can swap out the buckle to a custom Mott screw-in bronze or PVD buckle at no charge. Just let me know upon checkout.
Sizing: Watch straps that are over 4.5mm tend to wear a bit smaller than their dimensions, since most OEM straps are less than 4 mm thick. If you’re on the fence, I suggest you go with a longer strap or reach out about a custom strap.
