24mm Red Rustic Handmade Leather Watch Strap White stitch Panerai ~85/135
Up for sale is an all handmade 24mm rustic red leather watch strap. This strap is made from a great veg tan leather called Badalassi Carlo Pueblo from the Badalassi tannery in Italy. Here’s what Rocky Mountain leather says about the leather:
This veg tan leather is their top grade, it is full grain and has a nice supple feel with a small amount of firmness. This leather has a unique rustic look that adds beautiful depth to the leather and makes for an amazing patina as it ages.
As they described, you’ll see some rustic features in this leather, which is the lightened area that’s interspersed throughout the strap. This strap is soft to the touch and a medium firmness initially and will break in very easily with wear.
This strap measures 24mm (no taper), 85 mm x 135 mm x ~4.5 mm. I saddle stitched this strap with white Tiger thread, the best waxed synthetic thread available. I also added the colors of the Italian flag at the lugs of each side of the strap. Edges were burnished smooth. The first hole is 50 mm from the lug end. Extra holes can be punched upon request.
The strap comes with a custom stainless steel Mott screw-in Pre-V style buckle. I also have custom Mott bronze and black PVD buckles, which can be exchanged at no additional charge. If not specified, the strap will ship with the buckle as shown.
